Rapides Regional Medical Center now delivers ER wait times to your cell phone – for free.
The free SMS text service, “ER Wait Times,” allows patients with non-life-threatening injuries or illnesses to better determine when to visit the emergency room with real-time RSS feeds on cell phones and Rapides Regional’s web site. Read More

Rapides Regional Medical Center announced the launch of its first ever Smartphone app, iTriage®. This Smartphone medical application contains information on more than 300 symptoms, 1,000 diseases and 350 medical procedures. It also lists the current Emergency Room wait times at Rapides Regional Medical Center – as well as a list of RRMC services, specialties, campus map and driving directions. Read More
